Ex-LAPD officer accused of child sex crimes dies in custody.
Former LAPD officer Paul Razo, who was charged with eight counts of lewd acts upon a child, died at Los Angeles General Medical Center. Razo was accused of sexually assaulting four boys, including family members, at his Covina home between 2006 and 2017. He left the department in April and was undergoing treatment for a pre-existing medical condition when he died. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
