Harvard President Accused of Plagiarism in Peer-Reviewed Papers
Scholars have accused Harvard University President Claudine Gay of "definitely" plagiarizing in nearly 20 instances across four of her 11 peer-reviewed academic papers, including her doctoral dissertation. The allegations include taking full paragraphs from other authors without proper citation or quotation marks. While Harvard conducted a review and found no violation of research misconduct, Gay has proactively requested corrections to address inadequate citation. Despite the plagiarism allegations and controversy surrounding her handling of antisemitism on campus, Gay will remain in her position as Harvard president.
