McCarthy's flip-flop on Ukraine aid sparks controversy
Speaker Kevin McCarthy has reversed his decision to strip Ukraine aid from the Pentagon funding bill, stating that he will keep the $300 million in both the Pentagon and State Department funding bills. McCarthy's change of heart came after realizing that the State Department bill also includes funding for Ukraine, making it difficult to remove the aid.
