Four Dallas County inmates—Marquavious Billingsley, Jaden Maxwell, Johnny Dave Harris Bush Jr., and Kevin Gunn—escaped from the Perry County Correctional PREP Center in Uniontown, Alabama. The men, held on charges including murder, robbery and escape, are at large as deputies and assisting agencies conduct a statewide search. Authorities urge anyone with information to call 911 and advise the public not to approach the escapees.
Indiana State Police are investigating a shooting at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City, southern Indiana. All medical services, except for the emergency room, are closed. There is no danger to the public or hospital staff, and more information is expected to be released soon.
A 60-year-old man from Perryville, Missouri, died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 61 after failing to navigate a curve and going off the roadway. The man was riding a 2008 Harley-Davidson Heritage and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was rushed to Perry County Memorial Hospital but was pronounced dead.
