Atlus Boss Says A Persona 1 & 2 Remake Is Inevitable
Kotaku reports Persona producer Wada Kazuhisa says a remake of Persona 1 and 2 is something the studio “definitely should do,” though there are no concrete plans yet. The remark comes as Atlus revisits older titles with Persona 4 Revival and continues development on Persona 6, and follows a pattern of modernizing classics to fit today’s generation. A 1–2 remake would align with fan interest in the series’ origins and with Atlus’s ongoing remake/visual upgrade approach, even as the exact project remains unconfirmed.
