Former NHL star and Czech forward, Petr Klima, has passed away at the age of 58. Klima was the first player to defect from Czechoslovakia to join the NHL in 1985 and played for the Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Los Angeles Kings, and Pittsburgh Penguins. He scored a memorable triple-overtime winner in Game 1 of the 1990 Stanley Cup Final to help the Oilers win the championship. The cause of his death is unknown.
