PFL Tampa: Cyborg's Title Defense Becomes Non-Title Bout After Vieira's 7-Pound Miss
Cris Cyborg will defend her PFL featherweight title against Ketlen Vieira on Saturday in Tampa, but the bout will not be for the belt. Vieira missed the 145-pound limit by 7.2 pounds, meaning she cannot win the title even if she wins the fight. Cyborg, a 3-1 betting favorite, made weight exactly at 145 pounds. The event also saw the cancellation of a preliminary bout between Omran Chabaan and Florim Zendeli due to weight-cutting issues.
