Photon Matrix Launches $1,088 Laser Mosquito System Amid California West Nile Surge
A Chinese startup, Photon Matrix, has launched a high-tech, AI-driven mosquito defense system priced between $988 and $1,088. The device uses LiDAR and radar to detect and kill mosquitoes with a blue laser, aiming to provide a chemical-free alternative to traditional repellents. This launch coincides with a five-year high in West Nile virus cases in California, where two deaths have been recorded this year.
