Multiple Shootings Erupt at Restaurants in Vivion West Shopping Center and Over-the-Rhine
A dispute over a food order at a restaurant in the Vivion West Shopping Center in Platte County, Missouri, escalated into a shooting, injuring a 24-year-old female employee. The altercation began with a fight, during which restaurant employees were assaulted. As the employees tried to remove the individuals involved, a single shot was fired from a handgun, hitting an employee in the foot. The injured employee was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities are speaking with two possible suspects and do not believe there is an ongoing danger to the public.
