Sutton Woman Arrested for Alleged Juror Intimidation During Lindsay Clancy Trial
Dawn Light, 56, was arrested outside the Plymouth District Courthouse on September 1, 2026, while jurors in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial were deliberating. Charged with one count of intimidating a witness or juror, Light was taken into custody at approximately 3:40 p.m. as the jury was excused after failing to reach a verdict. The Massachusetts State Police did not confirm a direct link between the arrest and the Clancy case, but Judge William Sullivan addressed the incident in court, reaffirming existing orders protecting jurors. The jury, composed of nine women and three men, had been deliberating for 23 hours and declared a deadlock. Deliberations resumed on September 2. The trial concerns Clancy’s alleged killing of her three children in January 2024, with the defense arguing postpartum psychosis.
