Lake Michigan Claims Another Life: 18-Year-Old Drowns
An 18-year-old man drowned in Lake Michigan after disappearing for 20 minutes while swimming with a 14-year-old female at Porter Beach in Indiana. A Good Samaritan pulled the female out of the water, but the male remained lost until he was pulled to shore. Despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. This is the second drowning death in the area in a few days. Indiana State Police conservation officers are investigating the incident.
