The Avalanches announced their follow-up to 2020’s We Will Always Love You, a concept album titled No Bad Memories inspired by how advertising and brands affect memory. The record is due 10/16/2026 on Modular, and the band today released the fourth single “Can’t Get Over Losing You” featuring Portraits Of Tracy, following earlier collaborations with Nikki Nair/Jessy Lanza/Prentiss, Jamie xx, and Karen O.
The Avalanches announced their new album No Bad Memories, a 31-track release due October 16 via Modular, led by the new single Can’t Get Over Losing You featuring Portraits of Tracy with an animated video by Jonathan Zawada. The project is described as a deep dive into jingles, commercials, and the marketing era, following 2020’s We Will Always Love You and continuing the duo’s long arc since Since I Left You (2000) and Wildflower (2016). Previous singles include Blue Shadows with Karen O, Every Single Weekend with Jamie xx, and Together with Jessy Lanza, Nikki Nair, and Prentiss.
