Neuromancer on screen: Apple's poster hints at a bold, debated adaptation
Apple TV is adapting William Gibson’s Neuromancer into a ten-episode series, with JD Dillard and Graham Roland leading the project. Its minimalist poster has sparked debate over how faithfully the design and tech imagery reflect the novel (notably whether the behind-the-ear jack could signal changes to Case’s cyberspace hookup) and whether the show will update Gibson’s cyberpunk concepts for today’s audience, all while preserving the book’s themes. A release date has not been announced yet.
