Thompson holds on in MS-2 Dem primary as Eller edges Wilson in GOP

In Mississippi’s 2nd Congressional District, Democratic incumbent Bennie Thompson won the Democratic primary with about 86% of the 65,100 votes, defeating Evan Turnage and Pertis Williams (AP called the winner).
