Poland's Pro-Family Policy Fails to Reverse Population Decline
Poland's population has decreased to just under 37.7 million in June, with around 130,000 fewer Poles compared to a year ago, despite a pro-family policy and the return of emigrants. This decline marks one of the highest decreases since 2010, despite the government's efforts to incentivize larger families. The country also saw a decrease in live births and a rise in the number of deaths compared to the previous year.
