ARC Raiders' fifth Expedition will be the last until early 2027 as Embark Studios overhauls the Expedition system following ongoing community complaints. The upcoming Expedition window (Sept. 8–29) allows players to gather resources and prepare their caravan for a wipe that resets progression in exchange for rewards. Critics have pointed to limited windows, reward structure, and accessibility as major issues, and Embark says bigger changes are coming for Expeditions, with a revamped system expected to return alongside a future major update after Frozen Trail—though a firm return date hasn’t been announced.
