Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha's criticism of wrestlers protesting against the Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has drawn backlash from athletes and politicians alike. Wrestlers, including Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat, and Bajrang Punia, have been protesting against Singh since January, accusing him of sexual harassment. Many sportspersons have come forward in support of the protesting wrestlers, including Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj Chopra and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu.
