Public tip helps arrest second suspect in Seattle senior assault
A public tip led to the arrest of a second suspect, Jes'Sean Tyrell Elion, in the downtown Seattle unprovoked beating of a 77-year-old man. The other suspect, Ahmed Abdullahi Osman, was arrested the night of the April 19 attack but released and now has a warrant. Video from Seattle police Real Time Crime Center helped identify the suspects, who allegedly shoved the victim to the ground and assaulted him; the victim remains hospitalized at Harborview with a broken knee, a broken arm, and facial injuries. Elion’s bail is set at $100,000 as the case moves forward.
