Pearl Abyss confirms Crimson Desert is getting a paid post-launch DLC, featuring a narrative overhaul to tighten Kliff’s journey, plus new combat and life-sim content. The roadmap runs June–September with reworked key scenes, deeper combat flow, a new phase bridging enemy blockades, fort defense goals, and improvements for Damiane and Oongka, along with QoL tweaks to trading and farming and cross-save support across platforms; dates are not yet fixed.

Crimson Desert Reveals Kliff and Pywel’s Open World in New Featurette

Pearl Abyss released a 15-minute featurette for Crimson Desert introducing Kliff and the open world of Pywel. The video outlines the five regions that form Pywel, the main quest to reunite the Greymanes, and two additional playable characters with unique combat styles. Players can explore on horseback, climb, glide, and later use traversal tech like a missile mech and a dragon, with encounters ranging from soldiers to beasts and machines. The game emphasizes large-scale battles, fortress sieges, and a lore-rich world filled with puzzles and rewards. Crimson Desert is due out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on March 19.
