Runners Navigate Severe Flooding in New Jersey Half-Marathon
A Sunday half-marathon in Paramus, New Jersey, was drenched by heavy rain, forcing runners to wade through knee- to chest-deep water along the Saddle River Park course. No injuries were reported, but organizers Racefaster faced criticism for continuing the race despite a flash-flood warning; the organizers did not respond to requests for comment.
