Explosions and Derailments Disrupt Railway Traffic in Russian-Controlled Crimea
Railway traffic between Simferopol and Sevastopol in Crimea has been suspended after an explosion occurred on the tracks, causing eight train cars carrying grain to derail and a 50-meter stretch of the railway to be damaged. The cause of the incident is under investigation, but there were no casualties reported. The Transport Ministry in annexed Crimea expects railway traffic to resume by the evening of May 18.
