OnePlus Ace2 Pro: Rainproof touchscreen, Wi-Fi 7, and gaming cloud computing
OnePlus has introduced a new feature called Rainwater Touch Control on its upcoming Ace2 Pro smartphone, which allows the touchscreen to function even when wet. The technology is made possible by a custom chip and improved touch algorithms. In a comparison test against an iPhone 14 Pro, the Ace2 Pro successfully responded to taps and swipes in wet conditions, while the iPhone struggled. The Ace2 Pro will feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. The phone is set to launch on August 16.
