
Rapper-turned-politician named Nepal's youngest prime minister after Gen Z protests
Balendra Shah, a former Kathmandu mayor and rapper-turned-politician, was sworn in as Nepal’s youngest prime minister after his Rastriya Swatantra Party won a landslide in the March election sparked by Gen Z protests; his party took 182 of 275 seats, and Shah released a unity-themed rap song 'Jay Mahakaali' ahead of his swearing-in.
