
Virginia Tech Receives $50 Million Gift to Propel Health Sciences Research Expansion
The Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at Virginia Tech has received a $50 million gift from the Red Gates Foundation, one of the largest ever made to the university. The funding will be used to hire 14 new faculty members and support six research projects focused on cancer and brain disorders.
