Surviving and Suffering: Reflections on a Post-Roe America
Tammi Kromenaker, the director of Red River Women's Clinic, a North Dakota-based abortion clinic, discusses how her clinic survived in a post-Roe world after the Supreme Court's Dobbs ruling overturned the constitutional right to abortion. Kromenaker moved her clinic to Moorhead, Minnesota, and purchased a new building with the help of a GoFundMe campaign. She also talks about the challenges of sustaining the clinic financially and the survivor's guilt she feels for being able to keep her clinic open while others may have to close.
