Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney invest in Alpine F1 team

Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney will be part of an investor group taking a 24 per cent stake in Formula One racing team Alpine, alongside Otro Capital and RedBird Capital Partners. The $218m deal values Alpine Racing at around $900m. The investment will help Alpine bridge the gap with F1's front-running operations, such as Red Bull and Mercedes, and bring extra star power to the team.
