FFVII Revelation will skip streamlined progression at launch, updates coming post-release
Final Fantasy VII Revelation won’t launch with streamlined progression; the toggleable progression feature will be added later in a post-launch update after comments from Naoki Hamaguchi. The game is scheduled to release April 8, 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam).
