FBI Warns Microsoft, iPhone, and Android Users of Cyber Threats
The FBI has issued a warning to Microsoft users about a ransomware attack that can lead to extortion. Cybercriminal gang BienLien continues to target small businesses via ransomware that can remotely access devices. Companies that use remote access software like Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) are most at risk. The FBI advises users to keep systems and software up to date, enable anti-virus and anti-malware solutions, back up data regularly, and secure backups that are not connected to the computers and networks they are backing up.
