Democrats launch aggressive campaign to flip 31 GOP-held House seats.
Democrats have identified 31 Republican-held districts as targets in their campaign to regain control of the House in 2024. The list includes ultra-competitive districts, areas won by President Biden, and conservative-leaning districts with vulnerable GOP incumbents. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee plans to present Biden and the Democrats as “team normal” against a chaotic band of “MAGA extremists” they say have taken over the House Republican conference. The targeted districts include eight seats in California and six in New York. The DCCC's list of 33 seats represents the outer limits of what the party can achieve.
