Resident Evil 6 has sold over 1 million copies on the Nintendo Switch, joining Capcom's 'Platinum Titles' list. Despite being divisive among fans for its departure from survival-horror roots, the game has performed well, comparable to other Resident Evil ports. Capcom has yet to release a wholly original Resident Evil game on the Switch, focusing instead on ports and cloud versions.
