A comparison of the Big 3 gaming platform holders - PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo - reveals that PlayStation generated $11.3 billion more in net revenues than Xbox and $14.7 billion more than Nintendo. However, Nintendo delivered a higher operating profit of $3.792 billion compared to PlayStation's $1.846 billion. Xbox's emphasis on software, content, and services, along with its disruptive subscription service Xbox Game Pass, has allowed it to maintain high revenues despite selling console hardware at a loss.
