Rigby family receives support from 911 coworkers as boy fights brain tumor
Stetson Poole, a 4-year-old from Rigby, was diagnosed with an ependymoma brain tumor pressing on his brain stem and underwent surgery at Primary Children’s Hospital. He will begin seven weeks of daily radiation in Utah (with anesthesia) and will have follow-up CT scans for years. His mother, a Jefferson County 911 dispatcher, is receiving support from her coworkers, who created a GoFundMe to cover treatment and travel costs; as of now it has raised over $5,600 of a $7,500 goal.
