Greta Van Fleet's lead singer, Josh Kiszka, was worried about the reaction he would receive when he publicly came out as gay. However, he was pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming support and love he received from fans during the band's world tour. Fans waved rainbow flags and held up multicolored paper during their concerts, creating a safe and inclusive environment. Kiszka hopes to make rock concerts a place where everyone feels accepted and understood. He also spoke out against the targeting of the LGBTQ+ community by lawmakers in Tennessee.
