Florida Girls Steal Car to Meet Online Acquaintance, Returned Home Safely
Two Florida girls, aged 12 and 14, who stole their father's car to meet someone they had connected with online, have been returned home. The girls were reported missing on Thursday morning and were found later that day in Bayou La Batre, Alabama, around 400 miles from their hometown. Investigations are ongoing, and the identity of the person they were planning to meet is still unknown. The Union County Sheriff's Office thanked multiple agencies involved in the search and reminded parents to monitor their children's online activity.
