Screenwriter William Hasley, Caitlyn Jenner collaborator, dies during Runyon Canyon hike
Authorities have identified 78-year-old screenwriter William Hasley as the hiker who suffered a fatal medical emergency in Runyon Canyon. A UCLA Extension writing instructor and friend of Caitlyn Jenner, Hasley died after Los Angeles Fire Department responders treated him and airlifted him from the trail; the medical examiner has not yet ruled on his cause of death.
