
Nintendo composer Ryo Nagamatsu departs after 17 years.
Ryo Nagamatsu, a long-time composer at Nintendo known for his work on games such as Splatoon 2 and the Link's Awakening remake, has left the company after 17 years to "work a little wider" and help those in need in the industry. Nagamatsu joined Nintendo in 2006 and has left on good terms. His credits include various compositions in Splatoon 3 and the 'Melty Monster Galaxy' theme in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
