Wolverine update tones down scent trails, with a future toggle hinted
Insomniac's Marvel's Wolverine received a hotfix (01.001.005) that lowers the opacity of the on-screen scent trails and reduces the related audio cues, addressing player complaints about the distracting “fart gas” effect while keeping the feature. The developer says it may add an option to completely toggle scents off in a future update, and the patch also fixes some crashes. The game has sold ~1.9 million copies to date (~$130m in revenue), with about 23% of sales physical; Eurogamer noted strong character work but an overall mixed impression.
