
Sea Ltd. Surges on Strong Revenue and Profitability Gains
Sea Limited reported a 31% revenue growth in Q3, surpassing expectations with $4.3 billion in sales and earnings of 24 cents per share. This growth, driven by its Shopee e-commerce platform, led to an 18% rise in Sea's stock, marking a two-year high. Despite competition from Alibaba's Lazada and others, Sea improved profitability and expects continued growth. Shopee's revenue increased by 41%, and Sea's digital financial services and gaming divisions also showed strong performance. Sea's stock has more than doubled this year, recovering from a challenging 2023.
