Apple TV Commits to Eighth Season of 'Slow Horses' After Emmy Win

Apple TV has renewed the spy thriller 'Slow Horses' for an eighth season following its recent Emmy win for outstanding directing. The new season will adapt the ninth book in Mick Herron's 'Slough House' series, titled 'Clown Town.' Gary Oldman will return as Jackson Lamb, and Kristin Scott Thomas will reprise her role as Diana Taverner in what is described as their most explosive confrontation yet. The six-episode season is set to be produced by See-Saw Films, with Ben Vanstone adapting the material and Adam Randall returning as director. This renewal follows the premiere of Season 6 on Apple TV and a previous renewal for Season 7 announced last year.
