Portofino, a popular Italian travel destination, has banned selfies at certain locations due to "anarchic chaos" caused by tourists blocking streets and causing traffic. Those who spend too much time taking pictures could be fined €275. The ban will be in effect until October. Other cities and countries have also introduced selfie bans in response to tourism, including portions of the Tower of London and zoos in California and New York. Celebrities such as the Kardashians and Beyoncé have been spotted in Portofino.
