Calese Crowder, 39, a registered sex offender known as the serial ‘butt-sniffer,’ was arrested in Glendale on suspicion of violating parole after witnesses reported him trying to sniff people at a West Glenoaks Boulevard store and at a Marshalls nearby; he’s being held without bail. Crowder has a multi-year history of similar offenses in Glendale and Burbank dating to 2021, including a 2023 Glendale peeping case and a Barnes & Noble sniffing incident in Burbank.

"71-Year-Old Serial Bank Robber Arrested Again for New Heist"

Bruce Edward Bell, a 71-year-old serial bank robber recently released from prison, allegedly committed another heist at a Chase bank in Sun Valley, California, making off with over $60,000. After a high-risk traffic stop, he was taken into custody and arrested on charges related to second-degree robbery and aggravated kidnapping. Bell had previously spent 40 years in federal prisons for robbing four other banks and was released in July 2021 on supervised release.
