Parton Estate Alleges Nephew Used Barbed Wire to Block Legal Service
She's Alive LLC, the company managing Dolly Parton's estate, filed a motion in Davidson County Chancery Court alleging that her nephew, Bryan Seaver, used barbed wire and a 'no trespassing' sign to prevent process servers from delivering lawsuit documents. The estate argues Seaver is stalling to avoid legal consequences for alleged extortion and threats. A hearing is scheduled for October 9 to determine if a temporary restraining order becomes permanent.
