Seurat, Nvidia-backed startup, eyes IPO following $99M fundraise
Seurat Technologies, a 3D metal-printing startup backed by Nvidia, has raised $99 million in a funding round co-led by Nvidia's venture capital arm. The company hinted at a potential IPO in the medium-term and expects its valuation to approach $350 million. The funds will be used to deploy its production printers and bring parts manufacturing closer to customer factories, aiming to reshore supply chains and reduce emissions. Seurat has also secured commitments to supply metal components for Siemens Energy's turbines and has received letters of intent from global manufacturers exceeding the capacity of its pilot factory in Massachusetts.
