Hardcore Icon Lou Koller of Sick of It All Passes Away
Lou Koller, frontman of New York hardcore legends Sick of It All, has died after battling adenocarcinoma cancer. The band announced his passing, praising his camaraderie and energy. They noted that his age and the exact date of death were not immediately available, and that Koller paused touring in 2024 after doctors found a tumor in his esophagus. Sick of It All, formed in Queens in 1986, released Wake the Sleeping Dragon! in 2018 and were approaching what would have been their 40th anniversary; the group also thanked fans who donated to his medical fund.
