PGA Tour 2027: 36-event slate with Pebble Beach move and spaced signature events
The PGA Tour on Wednesday unveiled its 2027 calendar: 36 tournaments (including the four majors) with Sony Open dropped, Pebble Beach moved to the week before the WM Phoenix Open, and one TBD date opposite the Genesis Invitational. The season runs Jan–Aug, culminating in a two-week FedExCup Playoff end in August, and marks the last year before a 2028 shift to a two-tier Championship and Challenger system. Eight signature events will not be consecutive, Cadillac Championship and Arnold Palmer Invitational sit around The Players, Valspar is moved earlier, and a new Sompo Napa Championship is added before the Greensboro finale (GO by Raymond James). The schedule mirrors much of this year’s layout despite several date shifts, with Pebble Beach hosting the U.S. Open this June and the season ending at East Lake.}
