Simogo Indie Hits Get Switch 2 Upgrades Ahead of Western Launch

Simogo is bringing Switch 2 Editions of Lorelei and the Laser Eyes and Sayonara Wild Hearts with performance boosts (1080p/120fps handheld, 1440p/120fps docked) and a new Remix Arcade mode for Sayonara Wild Hearts. Japanese eShop listings show a 23 April release and ~50% discounts, plus a 100 yen upgrade path; Western eShops have not yet listed the titles, so the Western release timing remains unconfirmed and could be a store slip-up.

Sayonara Wild Hearts developer Simogo announced that its new game, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, will be released on May 16 for Nintendo Switch and Windows PC. The game, set in a mysterious black-and-white manor in central Europe, features a female protagonist with laser eyes solving puzzles and spotting patterns. The surreal puzzler, published by Annapurna Interactive, offers a different experience from Sayonara Wild Hearts with its macabre aesthetic and intriguing gameplay.
