Iran claims US airstrike hits wedding in Sirik, civilians killed
Iran says the U.S. bombed a wedding in Sirik (Kuhestak area), killing at least five people, including a child, and wounding about 63, many of them women and children. Tehran says the attack followed U.S. strikes on Iranian targets and vows a firm response, while the U.S. reports it hit Iranian air-defense sites, radars, and other facilities in a new wave of strikes amid escalating tensions near the Strait of Hormuz; Iran also claimed retaliation against U.S. bases in Jordan, Bahrain and Iraq.
