Singapore Airlines Reclaims Global Top Spot as Asian Carriers Dominate 2026 Skytrax Rankings
Singapore Airlines has been named the world’s best airline for 2026 by Skytrax, marking its sixth overall victory since the awards began in 1999. The ranking, based on a massive passenger survey, shows a significant shift toward Asian and Middle Eastern carriers, with Qatar Airways and Cathay Pacific taking second and third places. European airlines struggled to compete for the top spots, with only six making the top 20, though Air France and Turkish Airlines secured specific category awards. The oneworld alliance was also named the world’s best airline alliance.
