"Meta Quest 3: The Next Level of Mixed Reality Headsets"
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman went hands-on with a prototype of Meta's Quest 3 VR headset, codenamed Eureka, and reports that it features enhanced sensors, including two color video pass-through cameras and a depth sensor, leading to a "night-and-day improvement" in mixed reality applications. The headset is also thinner and lighter than its predecessor, the Quest 2, and features Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon XR2 chipset. However, it won't include face and eye tracking or controller-mounted cameras, and may come in at a higher price point than the Quest 2.
