Trump endorses Lindsey Graham’s sister as she seeks a full six-year Senate term
Sen. Darline Graham Nordone—appointed to finish her late brother Lindsey Graham’s term in South Carolina—announced she will run for a full six-year Senate term after President Trump endorsed her. She told Fox News’s Hannity that she will enter the upcoming special primary to appear on the November ballot, facing GOP candidates Russell Fry, Ralph Norman and Mark Lynch, and Democrat Annie Andrews; the filing deadline is July 28. Lindsey Graham died July 11 from a ruptured aorta, and Gov. Henry McMaster had appointed Nordone to finish the term.
